I recently bought myself a Toshiba Tecra A10 laptop, and obviously blew away Vista at my earliest convenience in favour of a Linux Distro. (I’m using Ubuntu on it at the moment, but that may change with time).

To my surprise, everything worked flawlessly except the audio card, which wouldn’t play any sound. I hunted around on the web for a long time, until finally finding a solution to the problem on a Spanish forum. I haven’t been able to find it again to link it here. Continue reading
